The Andrea McCoy Gymnasium
Concrete and Site Work, New Bedford, MA
The project consisted of all of the exterior site work, concrete ramps, stairs and
miscellaneous metals for accessibility to a newly renovated Community Center
for the City of New Bedford. There was not much space to work in and the
ramp and stair systems were fairly intricate, yet a great product was delivered

Springfield Technical Community College –Building 20-
Emergency Repairs
The project consisted of two portions. One part of the project was exterior
pointing, caulking, and waterproofing on the four main stair-towers
serving Building 20. The second part of the project was the complete
renovation of an auditorium in Building 20. The auditorium renovation
consisted of a complete removal of all finishes, asbestos removal, mold
mitigation, new flooring, tectum wall paneling and trim, acoustical ceiling work,
removal and re-installation of reupholstered seating, and upgrades to the
electrical and HVAC systems. The project was on an extremely tight schedule
and was completed on time. See Photos

Umass Boston Neuroscience Lab Renovation
Renovations
This project consisted of the renovation of an existing storage space into a Neuroscience Lab. Extensive plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work was needed to create the state of the art lab. The space received all new finishes including walls, flooring, and laboratory casework. As part of the project a large area of the building masonry veneer was removed and reconstructed to prevent water penetration as well as a new roofing system was installed. See Photos

Sharon High School Weight Room Addition
Gymnasium Addition
This project was the construction of a masonry addition to the Sharon High School Gymnasium and Weight Room. Although this building is an addition to the existing building the new structure is free standing and joined to the existing by expansion joints. The building is cavity wall construction with an 8" CMU structural wall and a 4" Split-faced Block at the lower portion and 4" Ground-faced Block at the upper portion. See Photos

UMass Boston
Nursing Renovations
This project entailed the complete gut of 4,600 sf of space to create a new state of the art teaching facility and labs for the nursing program. The new Center for Clinical Education and Research offers the newest in simulation technology set in a realistic hospital environment. Associated with the renovation were masonry, building envelope repair, window replacement, and roof replacement. See Photos

Salem State College
Academic Building Stair Renovations
Exterior and interior renovation of stairs, stairwell, and tunnel. The focus of the project involved concrete, historical masonry, roofing, and waterproofing.

Umass Boston
Clark Athletic Center
This project entailed the complete gut and renovation of the varsity locker rooms at Umass Boston. Included in the scope was major HVAC upgrades, plumbing, masonry, carpentry, flooring, and ceramic tile.

Umass Boston
Clark Athletic Center Offices
This project consisted of the gut and refinishing of the lower level offices in the Clark Athletic Center. Spaces once abandoned due to water penetration have been restored to provide brand new offices for coaches and student athletes. See Photos

Lindemann Mental Health Center
3rd & 4th Floor Renovations, New Adolescent Unit
This project entailed demolition of an existing ward, offices, and exterior space to create a children’s ward, school, and playground. The work involved site work, demolition, carpentry, masonry, flooring, glass and glazing, plastering, painting, electrical, and fencing. One unique item added to each patient room was the on-site construction of “a door in a door” to prevent patients from barricading themselves into their rooms. This was the first construction and installation of such a door type in New England.

Emergency Structural Shoring
Taunton Registry of Deeds
The intent of this project was to shore failing concrete slabs in the Registry of Deeds and Family Court in Taunton. The scope included installation of concrete sills, installation of GASS Shoring System, flooring, electrical work, and the encasement of the shoring system with ornamental wood work to match the historic details of the existing building. This project was accomplished while keeping both the Registry and Family Court up and running with no disruption.

Park Street/Boylston Street Headhouse Restoration
MBTA
This project involved the historic restoration of the granite entrances to Park Street and Boylston Street Stations. The work at each of the four entrances involved removing the steel superstructure roof, installation of new steel superstructure, glass
and glazing, masonry cleaning and restoration, re-pointing, wood window restoration, refurbishing of historic bronze grills, fabrication and installation of new bronze grills to match historic, sheet metal flashing, fabrication and installation of bronze entry doors. All of this work took place while maintaining functionality of the entrances with no disruption to service or passangers. See Photos

State House
Security Center
This project involved the complete gut of 2,500 sf of space to create a new up to date office area for State House Security. Extensive structural work was required to combine several areas. Great care was given to modernize the space and finishes while maintaining certain historical aesthetics consistent with the State House.

Improvements to the Kitchen Floor Slab
M.C.I. Cedar Junction
This project entailed kitchen renovations and structural demolition and replacement of the existing concrete floor slab at Walpole Prison. This project was accomplished while maintaining functionality and use of the prison kitchen without disruption to service.

Town Hall & Police Station Renovations
Whitman, MA
This project involved renovation and repairs to the town offices, auditorium, and police station. Extensive work was performed to improve accessibility, functionality and upgrade both buildings substantially. Bathroom upgrades, boiler replacement, HVAC upgrades, electrical, sprinkler, and fire alarm upgrades were some of the portions of work. All of this work was performed while the town hall and police station remained in full operation. See Photos

50 Clapp Street Office and Warehouse
This project was the new construction of a 6000 square foot Office and warehouse building. Included in the scope was Site work, utilities, concrete, masonry, electrical, fire protection, HVAC, iron work, roofing, glass and glazing, carpentry, painting, overhead
roll-up doors, and security/video system.

Renovations to the Winchester Unitarian Church
This project entailed the interior renovation to the Nursery/Sunday School and church offices and the construction of a 3 story masonry addition with elevator. The Scope included site work,demolition, masonry, carpentry, gypsum board assemblies, glass and glazing, roofing, plastering, structural steel, structural pre-cast concrete, architectural pre-cast concrete, painting, flooring, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing. All of this work was completed while maintaining the offices and school in operation. See Photos

Beacon Fitness Center
Locker Room Renovations, Umass Boston
Description: The project entailed the complete gut and renovation of the locker rooms, bathrooms, and shower facilities at the Beacon Fitness Center at Umass Boston. The scope entailed demolition, masonry, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, acoustical ceilings, painting, and ceramic tile.

Emergency Temporary Entrance Ramps
New Bedford & Fall River Courthouses
The intent of the project was to provide handicap accessibility to two public buildings that previously were not accessible. The general scope of the work in Fall River was the installation of a long steel and fiberglass ramp, interior finishing of the vestibule, and installation of door operators. The general scope of work in New Bedford was installation of concrete ramps, granite veneer, Railings, decking, aluminum entrances, general landscaping, since we reworked the whole front exterior area of the courthouse and parking lot.

Fiscal Affairs Renovation
Boyden Hall, Bridgewater State College
This project entailed the complete gut and renovation of a large area of the second floor of Boyden Hall to make one large office area. There was significant demolition, temporary shoring, and structural reworking of the building to accomplish the open office plan. This work was done while maintaining the use and functionality of the building with no disruption to classes.

IT Support Services Center
Maxwell Library
This project entail gutting and renovating a section of the basement in The Maxwell Library at Bridgewater State College to construct a new IT Center. The project included extensive framing and drywall to create “floating” ceilings, electrical, and extensive
architectural woodwork and casework giving the area a very modern look. See Photos

Misc. Repairs at the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital, DMH
This project entailed the renovation of two of the Nurse’s Building
at the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital. One floor was constructed to be
used for group therapy. The other floor was converted into offices
for DMH Staff.

General Warren & W. 9th Street Renovations to Community Rooms
Boston Housing Authority
This project entailed the complete gut and renovation of two elderly community centers for the Boston Housing Authority. One center is located in Charlestown and one in South Boston. The scope consisted of demolition, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, plastering, flooring, roofing, acoustical ceilings, architectural woodwork, concrete, and glass and glazing. See Photos

Hazardous Waste Storage
Umass Boston
This project was the construction of a blast proof room to contain all of the chemical lab waste from the Science Building at Umass prior to transfer. Every product and material used on the project was highly specialized to eliminate any type of spark including static. Specific measures were taken to prevent any type of spills, fire, or blast. Work included demolition, masonry, carpentry, epoxy floors, painting, iron work, spray-on fire proofing, electrical, HVAC, and fire suppression.

Emergency Repair & Renovations to Holding Facilities
Lynn District Courthouse
This project entailed the complete gut and renovation of the holding area and garage. The project was run on a 24 hour schedule to ensure that the deadline was met. The work was quite extensive. Webster Construction received and award from DCAM for work on this project. See Photos

Stabilization of the NR-2 & NR-3 Shaker Buildings
MCI Shirley
This was a historic restoration to two Shaker Buildings in Shirley. The major trades on this project were carpentry and historic masonry as the intent was a structural stabilization. Great care and attention were given to temporary shoring, replication and installation of historic lumber sizes to match existing, and foundation work.

Solomon Carter Fuller Mental Health Center
Main Entrance Renovations, DMH
This project was the demolition of the existing aluminum entrance system and lobby finishes at the Fuller Mental Health Center and the installation of a new revolving door with associated ADA egress. Included in the project were new lobby finishes, flooring, carpentry, masonry, and painting, HVAC, and electrical. See Photos

Solomon Carter Fuller Mental Health Center
Renovations to the 6th Floor East, DMH
This involved the complete gut and renovation of the 6th Floor East at the Fuller Mental Health Center to modernize the patient ward. The project entailed demolition, carpentry, high impact drywall systems, plastering, architectural woodwork, flooring, ceramic tile, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.

Metal Storage Building
North Shore Community College
The construction of a new metal storage building for the Facilities Department at North Shore Community College, Danvers Campus. The scope included site work, concrete foundations, structural steel, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.

Web Development Lab
Umass Boston
This project entailed the interior renovation of a space inside the Science Building at Umass to make a computer lab dedicated to web development. Items in the scope of work included concrete, carpentry, flooring, painting, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.

Forensic Unit, Quincy Mental Health Center
DMH
This project involved patient safety upgrades and functionality upgrades. The work entailed carpentry, gypsum board assemblies, glass and glazing, and painting. All the work was performed while the hospital was occupied and in full operation.

Marine Barracks Building “T”
Boston National Historic Park
This project involved the deleading of the Marine Barracks at The Charlestown Navy Yard.

Repairs to the Nahant Public Library
This project entailed exterior and interior repair and restoration to The Nahant Public Library. The scope of work included extensive scaffolding for re-pointing of the whole building. The exterior restoration was a historic masonry project. See Photos

Reggie Lewis Track & Athletic Center
This project entailed roofing and waterproofing of the Reggie Lewis Track & Athletic Center.

Landscape Improvements
North Shore Community College
This project included extensive site work, fencing, and landscaping at the North Shore Community College Lynn Campus.

Computer Lab Construction
Mass College of Art
This project entailed the construction of a computer lab. Trades involved were demolition, masonry, carpentry, flooring, painting, electrical, and HVAC.

Day Care Center, Superior Court
Middlesex County Court House
This project entailed the construction of a day care center. Trades involved were demolition, carpentry, masonry, roofing, waterproofing, painting, flooring, acoustical ceilings, ceramic tile, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing. See Photos

The State House
This was a gut and renovation/historic restoration project. The Trades included carpentry, historic masonry, flooring, painting
electrical, and HVAC.

New Laboratories
North Shore Community College
This project was a gut and renovation to create new wet science labs. The trades included were demolition, carpentry, masonry, architectural woodwork, flooring, painting, roofing, waterproofing, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.
